Since the beginning of their specialty, plastic and reconstructive surgeons have been fully trained in the art of hand surgery. Approximately one third of the hand surgery performed in the United States is done by plastic surgeons. Carpal tunnel syndrome and other upper extremity cumulative trauma disorders are common diagnoses seen in the office of Dr. Haeck. Surgical treatment of ganglion cysts, hand tumors, and trigger finger are conditions that can be treated in his office operating suite without necessitating a hospital stay. Surgical release of carpal tunnel conditions and Dupuytren's disease can be performed at the Seattle Surgery Center located in the same building as Dr. Haeck's office. With the onset of managed care, it has become necessary to follow appropriate referral standards in accepting new patients for this type of treatment.

To schedule an appointment, you will need to have a referral from your attending physician, and either an open claim from the Department of Labor and Industries or an HMO/Insurance plan accepted in this office. If you are unsure of which plans are accepted, please call this office to confirm your coverage in advance.
